Donations

The Company is always seeking ways to increase the funds available for charitable and other works. Here are some suggested ways of giving financial support.

Donations

The Company is always pleased to receive donations from Liverymen and others.

Gift Aid

Donations may be made under the Gift Aid scheme. The appropriate forms are available on request.

Legacies

The Company encourages Liverymen to remember the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers in their wills. In order to obtain inheritance tax relief it is possible to make legacies to the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers Charitable Fund (registered charity number 288646). In addition, Liverymen may make bequests to the general fund of the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers. It should be borne in mind that under current legislation the latter form of bequest will not attract deduction relief for inheritance tax purposes. If you require further information concerning the wording of such legacies, the Clerk of the Company will be pleased to supply the necessary wording.

Benefactors Fund

The Benefactors Fund, established in 2002, was set up to receive donations from Liverymen who wish to increase the general funds of the company. Income from the fund is to be used, at the Court's discretion, to defray part of the cost of dinners at which benefactors are remembered.

The Company is pleased to receive donations and legacies for this fund.
