Awards Dinner 2025

It was a pleasure to hold our annual Awards Dinner in the beautiful surroundings of Apothecaries' Hall on 2nd July 2025. Following a dazzling improvisation by saxophonist Jonty Gould, winner of the 2025 Guildhall School of Music Woodwind Prize, Master Dr Sue Sumners was pleased to introduce the following award winners: Edith Miller and Severina Seidl from the Royal School of Needlework and Lt George Maughan and WO2 Kevin Mulligan from the 3rd Battalion, Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment. It was a particular pleasure to celebrate the inaugural Needlemakers Prize for Advanced Needle Technology and to welcome winners Emily Mills and Josh Burke co-founders of Cascade MedTech. Pre and post-dinner drinks in the exquisite courtyard provided liverymen, freemen and guests with the opportunity to congratulate all the award winners, and to meet the six new liverymen and new freeman who had been admitted to the company earlier that day.
